Managing Director of Founded in January 2007, GTV Lanka Network boasts over 19 years of industry experience. We specialize in producing high-quality video projects including documentaries, TV programs, and promotional videos. Our professional team ensures excellence in every production, utilizing seasoned cameramen, editors, and support staff. / My academic journey has been filled with challenges and successes. I’ve been a Director of Photography in the video production industry, where I developed and refined various study techniques that not only helped me excel but also made learning more enjoyable. My goal is to make studying a more effective and less stressful experience for you./ Magazine photography, Recently participated in an artistic photo shoot for the Dutch Heritages of Sri Lanka Magazine, capturing the beauty of Dutch colonial constructions.

2019
Broadcast Manager.

For the 2019 presidential election, the United National Party (UNP) held 150 meetings in 30 days at various public places like market squares, parks, and beaches. They broadcast these meetings live in full HD using fast, modern technology, reaching wider audiences via Facebook and YouTube. Additionally, three open-air broadcasting buses equipped with the latest technology traveled across the island to bring the live meeting experience to the masses.

2019
Cameraman CNN-Freelance.

My experience as a cameraman with the CNN crew during the tragic Easter Sunday attacks in Sri Lanka was life-changing. The event's devastating impact deeply affected me, and capturing the story for the world was a tremendous responsibility. Working with CNN's professional, dedicated, and compassionate journalists taught me a lot about approaching such stories with sensitivity and respect.

2010
University of Sri Jayewardenepura.

In 2010, I got involved with the Chamber of Small Medium Enterprises at the University of Sri Jayewardenepura campus. This experience provided valuable knowledge, which I now apply in my business. It was instrumental in shaping my entrepreneurial skills and understanding of small to medium enterprises.

2002 - 2004
Sri Lanka Rupavahini Corporation.

From 09.12.2002 to 08.03.2004, I received training in music, drama, sports, studio productions, Electronic News Gathering, and programming productions. The drama program focused on stage production, lighting, sound setup, and recording live performances. The sports program provided hands-on experience in capturing and editing live sporting events. The studio productions program covered operating studio equipment and producing television programs. The Electronic News Gathering program trained participants to gather and edit news footage in the field.

2002-2003
Graphics World-Sri Lanka..

I completed a 2003-2004 Graphic Design Course at the Graphic World - Sri Lanka Institute, specializing in Computerized Non-Linear Editing, Graphic Design for After Effects, and Animation. I learned to use software like Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Flash, and Toon Boom. This valuable experience helped me grow both professionally and creatively.

Cameraman DOP

As my main job as a freelance cameraman in Sri Lanka, I work extensively creating high-quality promotional videos, commercials, documentaries, and live broadcasts for local and foreign TV stations, multi-camera productions (HD), YouTube, and Facebook. Apart from this, he has mastered several subjects and continues to work as a service provider.

Graphic Design
